I’m currently working on exploring Harriet Beecher Stowe and the role the circulation of letters, books, and periodicals played in her personal and professional life. My work on Stowe traces the role of circulation in the career of Stowe through an examination of her use of letters, prefaces, and other material forms. On the side, I’m also taking a look at the role of poetry at the Moravian Seminary for Young Ladies in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in Department of English at Duquesne University. My blog provides a space for me to write about my own research work, pedagogy, higher education, and other related topics. I’m also a contributor to the blog for Pedagogy and American Literary Studies.
